Seven Years Ago.....
It was in the month of June that Josh and I asked ourselves "Can we take a jump?" "can we at least commit to two years?"
Being only married for 7 months at the time, two years seemed like forever...but we agreed and jumped, at 20 and 21 years old, we signed our life away and bought our first home.
Seven years and two kids later we are still here, in our "starter home". Over the years we have made a few changes here and there.. change a light.. paint a wall...ect. But looking back at the pictures we took seven year ago of our new home I can not believe how far we have come.
*NOTE*: If you click on the pictures they will get larger
Look how much the trees have grown in 7 years!!
The back yard
Dining Room
Our Living Room. Five years ago, for my birthday, my parents came in and ripped down the old lady wooden candle things and constructed my beautiful mantel. What a difference!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!
Our Bedroom
Of course we have other rooms, but they sat empty for a few year until the girls joined us in our little home.
Seven years have raced by and looking back I can truely say that I love the home and life we have built together.
I will end with this.... At 20 years old I wasn't old enough to buy a beer, but I could buy a house.... just a funny thought...
